> Yes this is ok, as long as the license for the original work allows it.
Also, remember the rules of the Fall All OGA Jam require you to give credit to the original artist (including a link to their work) even if the license for the work doesn't require it.
Thanks for clarify me that ! yeah im saving a excel sheet with all the info and assets I'm using . This is my first jam and I don't want to do something bad or wrong :P
> No not at all. The theme is just meant as an abstract idea. You may interpret it however you like.
For example, an RPG where you must collect all eight pieces of the Octo-Force could be considered 'Completing the Set'.
Ahhhh I understand now. This also gives me a nice idea for the purpose of my game. Thanks also for those examples :)
>Awesome! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! :)
Thanks for this awesome welcome :D
Btw I have a last question regarding the Engine. I can use for example Unity and a Free assets with shaders , etc... ? My plan is really use pixel art for all the project with art and music from there plus a bit edits . But I'm talking about light effects , etc... Are those allowed ? At last must be commented and credited if are allowed ?
I want to join but my english is a very basic and i don't understand the theme "Completing the set" that means you must use all resources from that asset ?
But I have one question, we can take images with a public domain license (ex. wikimedia commons , pixabay) and use as base to make scenes , backgrounds , etc... Those edits are suitable to upload here ?
Sorry for this noobish question and for my bad english. IDK where ask this question.
