Good job. However, you forgot to add weights to the hair, eyes, and tail. This is quickly fixable by simply selecting both the object and closest bone (multiple selection is done by holding down SHIFT), then use Ctrl+P (think of it as P=Parent), and then select the automatic weights option.

This happens for me as well and the only thing I know to do is just give the original author credit somewhere in the description or attribute section.
