I'm not sure what "subset for the texture" means... is this an .x thing?  Or something particular to your engine?

clrg, yes he's a tough little dude!  He's sort of the "boss" of the goblin warren.  He's a bit easier with a weapon.  I want to work on merchant/vendors soon.

I could probably render these in square view, but because of the angled (not top-down) perspective, the resulting tile would be a rectangle (2 units wide and 1 unit tall) instead of square.  That might not really solve anything.

Unless there's some perspective setting I can use to get the effect I want?
