I´m sorry for hijacking this thread, but i´ve got a related question, i guess.

I´ve made a little "software"(it´s made with another software called Visionaire Studio).

With this software you can quickly make Lucasarts style point and click characters, so

it would be 2D art. Am i allowed to upload it here? I mean, it´s software, but it´s to make

assets, so i´m unsure about it.

Thanks in advance for an answer.

You can upload the right file, I definitively don't have a problem with it. I didn't take part in the jam to win, I just wanted a motivation to do something different beside my main projects.

I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed, too. Don't get me wrong, it's just that I really liked the idea behind the jam. All those assets that hardly see any use. I wonder what went wrong here, after all it's been only eight people to begin with that joined. If you have, I don't know, 20 entries and five people can't finish on time you still have 15, but this way it seems kinda pointless.

For the jam i choose something relatively "simple" in terms of gameplay, since i knew that i don´t have much free time to invest into the game. What mostly eats up my time is the level design. Making a level is one thing, making a good level is another. And in this case, i underestimated the design part a little.

I guess i won´t be able to make as many levels as i wanted to, because of lack of time. Finishing the game won´t be a problem, but it´s going to be a bit shorter. Oh well... i can still add levels later after the jam if i feel like it.

While building a level for my game i encountered a game breaking bug that i could thankfully fix. If i hadn´t noticed it now it might have been bad.
