Hello from the North West US! I read your entire first post and watched trailer 7 (https://www.moddb.com/games/fursan-al-aqsa-knights-of-al-aqsa-mosque/vid...).

I just wanted to say I think this whole thing is so cool. Because of you I looked up the Lebanese civil war which I had never read about before. What you're doing takes so much work.. the headscarf is very cool. Having to deal with small amounts of ram is very hard. I had trouble writing text programs that didn't take too much ram... I couldn't imagine how hard it is to deal with video textures. And now I read this whole page!

I also love your website (https://www.fursanaqsa.com/)

Seeing your whole project is just so inspirational. I can't wait to read another update.

You managing to teach yourself all of these things is absolutely incredible. And your goal of telling a story that, like you mentioned, is essentially untold in the world of videogames is amazing.

I signed up for this website just to say hi haha. I'm browsing around just for sprites for a simple web game which I expect to be far less work than this. I don't think I could ever help you with something, but I got my CS degree years ago and I've been making web/mobile apps and games on the side since then with javascript. My degree is in C/C#/C++ though. I wrote an OS from the ground up with an ASM booter and the rest of the OS was in C, a web server and more in C#, and many many things in C++. I taught python while working on my degree for a couple years also so I'm too familiar with that too! Like I said, I don't think I could ever be of any help but I'll be here to read about your struggles and successes!

Maybe now that you've compressed all the textures reducing the Texture Pool Size back down might be possible? I imagine the default 140MB might keep you from running out of memory on consoles? We always hear about how much time game developers spend on optimizing, and your most recent update shows just how hard it can be!

Finally good job back porting the Unreal UDK to PS3/360 and busting open that barrier to indie devs for a couple years. So insane!

Cheers brother. Assalamu Alaykum.
