Hi NoteOfMseirSire,

What would help me could be someone that would make some kind of "coaching" for my mini-projects.

It's not that easy to stay motivated long enough on a project to make a project that will be valueable for someone.

I really don't need that you spend 3 hours by month, something like 10 minutes when you're in the mood to would be enough.

Basically the task would be to encourage me to go further and congratulate me for the progess when I make some.

And ask me from time to time which steps I made.

You can also give me some advices, ideas, comments or anything you feel could help the project. You could also give me some pointers to some interesting project that you think could give me some ideas.

If the project reach some point that it could interest some gamers, you could also help me to make some marketing. I don't expect to be able to make a living of it, but if you're able to coach me in a way that some income are done, I will of course share the income with you.

In the past I made 3 mini-games:

I made each in about 2 days.

These days I'm trying to work on some variants of a shmup:

And I've also started a platformer (it's only an early step):

OK, I edited the initial post to remove the link to the "no-war" manifesto from the Ukrainian user that contains political content.

Yes Bonsaiheldin is maybe not a spammer, it can be someone that bought his domain after, and this person put a redirect to catch old links instead of leaving a 404 error.

I remember I saw two other links like that too, but I didn't rember where (there is no report button near comments, and I should probaby not use the report button on the user's page).

Also one message from me in the thread about the public domain has been deleted. I don't think my message was off topic, could you tell me what was wrong with it?

This one, I don't really understand what it is, but it look like a product sold:

It's not a game like it is said on this page:

I noticed a typo in my first message

"that this was ends"

should be

"that this war ends"

Sorry, I'm not doing any politics here.

I just noticed an OGA user was from Ukraine. And I'm worry for him.

Most OGA users probably also like, and I also noticed another user from Itch that is also from Ukraine.

I even put a warning if you don't like politics that the narative game from this Itch user contains some.

A lot of users on these websites use nicknames, maybe there are others that are still with us on these websites while being in a bomb shelter. Maybe some of these will or already have disappeared, and we will not notice it that much because it's not visible on their profile page in which country they are living.

We all share interest for independant games on these websites and we are some kind of "web friends" I think (I hope). I'm really sorry when I know what is happening to them.

> I had to install ImageMagick-devel and librsvg-devel to compile those pieces of glMLite.

If you only need the png loader, you don't need to compile the other loaders.

It is explained in detail in the README:

I'm the author of the lib that this post talks about, glMLite, I'm just posting to say that the address changed:

The tutorial that Hendrik gave a link is also available there now.

About the png loader, the README explains in detail which lib to install for each image file format, and also explains that you should install the -devel package which contains the C headers.

The makefile of hendrik was indeed missing the unix module, it is required because hendrik initialises the random generator with functions from the unix module (Unix.gmtime and Unix.time).

It is not possible to use Random.self_init () wrongly because there are no parameters to provide. It is supposed to work as expected, and if not, it is a bug. It was known to be buggy on MacOS in the past if I'm not mistaken, but this is surprising that this is buggy on a debian variant (what hendrik is using).

I was happy to find this demo from Hendrik because there are not a lot of public things using my ocaml bindings. I only know a scientific project Zelus and this demo from Hendrik, that's all. So thank you Hendrik! It was a nice gift!

Hi Ivan,
I made a mini-demo with these butterflies:
Thanks for this nice file!
