Ruin Regions is a MMORTS, that follows a unique futuristic, yet modern storyline. Players assume the role of Ruler over their completely customized Region. Players initially must select various important aspects of their Region, including the Planet (four distinctively different planets to choose from in the "Ruin System"), Form of Government (ranging from Tyranny to Elective based governments), names for their Region, Populace and their own Ruler Title, as well as creating an Advisor (with six different skill ratings) to begin with. Once a player has established their rule, they will begin developing their Region by building infrastructure to produce and manage resources, train researchers and discover new technologies, seek out skilled Advisors and develop their skills and abilities, draft, equip and train a military force, make important decisions on political, social, economic or foreign policies, establish alliances and trade agreements to increase resources and assist in war times, and use bribery, war and espionage to defend or expand their rule.
