Four older signs can be found here.
So many RPGs have buildings and shops you pretty much have to enter to find out what they are. In the real medieval and modern world signs are used to solve that problem. These signs are simple, images, so:
1) they can be used for various purposes, and
2) they make sense for a semi-literate society,
3) they can be recognized by the player at a distance
Size: 512x512
If you find these images useful, I'd appreciate it if you send me a line, with a link to your project -- just to satisfy my curiosity. I wouldn't turn down a complimentary copy of your game either ;).

I couldn't upload these as "textures" but it did allow me to edit it and change to texture, however the previews of the files do not show up.
Wonderful. Very much like it :)
I just love these. Highly useful!
cooooool~
Really nicely done!
Hi, just posted your textures in one texture atlas to be used for my upcoming game codenamed TDL. Also, i posted the paintings you posted with some frames in one texture atlas, so anyone can use it right away in their projects.
I'm glady you find them useful, but I question weather it is useful for OGA to repost content already on this site --slightly re-arainged.
If there is really much call for putting all the signs into one file it would make much more sense for me to add it, rather than duplicating content on this site.
Hmmm... that would be better, i just found it much better to have them on an atlas and did it for my current project, so i tought "why not?" and uploaded to spare the work, i think i can change the "author" field to avoid duplicating work.
nice
I love it!
a bit technical, but I used some of these in one of my examples for this project:
