A few months ago, I was working on a game. I used some music that was from this site...I think. I picked it up again, and now I want to properly credit the source of each asset I use. The problem is, I forgot to write down where the music actually came from, so I have no idea who to credit.
Does anyone know who made the attached song?
It's this one, thanks Teh_Bucket!
You could have
Someone also posted a spreadsheet file http://opengameart.org/content/asset-credit-resource-list
Sadly, there is no tag in the file. "Chiptune" might be a good starting point.
Click on your profile, then check your downloads tab, it will be in there if you have downloaded it.

Nice. I always forget it. I hope he didn't disable it like I did
It's enabled, but I don't think I was signed in at the time I downloaded the song...
Maybe download it again, your windows might say you have it already, if you have take note of the file name, it may give you a specific date, so maybe we can narrow the search down a bit, or maybe a file I it that will give you the name of the author? I'm clutching at straws.

Oh no, you can't, you don't know what it is, haha, sorry I'm being a bit stupid there...

Is this it? I can't play the file you have attached, so might be wrong.

if you have the original file downloaded from OGA, you can use google search
or
@chasersgaming: Nope, it's not. Thank you, though.
@mold: Can't do that either; I changed the filename to fit my project's conventions. I may have also converted it from a different audio format (thus changing the size), but I don't remember for sure.
All I know about the song is that it was published before May 2016, as that's when I started this project (and picked out the music). It might not even have come from this site (or maybe it did; OGA is my go-to for royalty-free content).
The music.ogg file here is not the original name file?
you could maybe try your google settings and check the your download history? If you find the file there it may give you the source from where it came.

Nope, I've cleared my download history a few times over the summer.

@Teh_Bucket: That's it, thank you so much!
@MedicineStorm: I tried doing the same thing, except I skipped titles that didn't seem to reflect the song; the track doesn't sound melancholy or sad in the slightest.
Yeah i almost skipped it for the same reason
Was gonna make a collection of decent chiptunes and go through them all
