Any profiles you click on, or links to previous assets that are 'Access Denied, means that user has been disabled or banned for breach of rules, or asset has infringed copyright in someway.

If this is the case, (i would wait for admin to respond to confirm) i would stop using assets from authors whos profiles have been disabled, until the issue has been resolved.

Im sure you can still find his assets elsewhere if you know where to look if you still want to use his/her assets. Maybe they have a blog. ;)  Id be careful though if your planning a commercial release using them.

Correct; Galacti-chron has been banned. However, he has indicated he prefers the non-infringing art be left up. Although I recommend caution when using any of his assets (due to his tendency to completely disregard copyright and source material) as far as we can tell at this point in time, all infringing assets of his have already been disabled, so the ones still up should be safe to use.

Hah! that is an interesting side effect. When the whole Duion thing happened, all content was assigned to Anonymous user, which is who you are when you're not logged in. I'll take care of that... [EDIT] ...ok, that collection should no longer appear.

Having qubodup simply edit the original would have been an ideal alternative. That way the original link would remain valid, but he is offline for weeks at a time, so XCVG fixed it instead and the old one was taken down.

In the two submissions in the original post, the spritesheets appear to RPG Maker edits.

Edit: Specifically, they appear to be RPG Maker XP edits.

I have no idea about the profile images.

Note: I get the same error that Xom Adept describes when I use the "Report Spam" button. After refresh, the message "Unable to send e-mail. Contact the site administrator if the problem persists" appears.

Oh, sorry MedicineStorm, didn't see your comment. I updated my last comment. It definitely looks like an edit of the RPG Maker XP base sprites.

Are there any other other assets still up by Galacti-Chron? I'd like to look at them if there are. I don't know if I can find them since I don't have access to his/her banned profile.

Edit: Oh, doing a submitter name search works.

@AntumDeluge: Based on your comparison, I agree; the sprites are RPGMaker derivative. Those two submissions should not be used. They have been disabled as well. Let me know what you discover looking at the other assets.

Nothing else jumps out at me as being in violation. But I would be interested in contacting Sky Rae to ask her for confirmation on Galacti-Chron's claims on the Dying Voices submission. If I get time, I may do that... eventually.
