Sorry, I'm french, my English is very bad, but my programming is fine.
Basically the game was made to play with my daughter or with friends.
He has no commercial ambition.
To play, all you need is a computer and left click on the mouse.
No need for a 100-page manual (smile).
There are 8 maps for 2 or 4 player.
The game uses music found on OGA.

I am the author of the graphic resources, concerning the characters and the backgrounds.
I used the Clickteam Fusion 2.5 software.
I put a link to the game, I don't know if it's authorized, it's about sharing, for fun not to make money.
[link disabled]
On my blog there are some screenshots of the game.
I put the game engine in open source, as well as the graphic resources, they can be used for non-commercial purposes.
Thank you for your attention.
Cordially.
Thanks for sharing.
I followed the link to the file(s) and it looks dubious. In what format is the file? And what should I do with that file?
Do you have a link to your blog?
Greetings
Peter
Thank you for the feedback.
It is a zip file. Once unzipped, you get an exe file created with Clickteam Fusion, which you just have to launch.

Link for the game, file.exe

That exe is giving some dubious returns. Please do not add that link any more until you are able to explain why it would show up with several threats.

It's normal, it also happens on my PC.
The exe file generated by Clickteam Fusion freaks out my antivirus and windows security.
You can delete the topic.
Thank you in advance.
I can see that virus false positives are a thing for clickteam fusion. That has to be frustrating. I am wondering if there is some way to resolve those errors.
Thank you for the explanation. Once I verify they are indeed false, I can restore those links. Do you still want the topic removed?
I will assume yes if I don't hear back from you today.

yeah i used to use clickteam fusion, and this is a constant thing with each update they do. they always say "it's the anti-virus software's fault" on the clickteam forums, and say they have reported it to the av vendors, but it happens again every single time they do a new build of fusion. i have no doubt that clickteam devs are being honest, and it is a false-positive issue, but it is an issue that has been ongoing for literally years.
do yourself a favor, friend. switch to gdevelop. it is extremely similar to fusion in the UI and action and event visual scripting system, and has virtually none of it's downfalls. and it is completely free, both gratis and libre. it is time to jump off the sinking ship, i did it and have not regretted it at all since switching.
Thank you for your explanations, Ragnar.
I tried a lot of software but each time I come back to Clickteam Fusion, I despair of finding better, level of production of graphic resources (pixel art).
Furio Characters 16x16. >> Made with CTF in a short time.
yeah i was heavily invested in click software. i started using klik n play for schools in the 90s, and stuck with them through all the versions up to 2 years ago. it was really scary for me to abandon it cuz i was invested in it, it was the only tool i knew how to use. yves and danny and all those guys are good people who are really trying to support their baby. yves has devoted what, 25 years of his life to it?
but for me, there were just too many issues, and the virus false-positive is high on the list. it's hard to explain to players "just ignore all the warning signs that this game is malicious, trust me it's not." 90% of people aren't gonna go for it.
and i have found that the default behaviors in gdevelop are much more useful than those in fusion, but you are of course free to choose your own course.
your art looks good, your game probably is too. but if a game falls in the forest and there is noone to play it, does it make a sound?
An engine that gives false positive antivirus warnings is very very bad and shouldn't be even treated as usable. Even if dev says it's safe - no adequte person should believe it. Because such engines are perfect way to actually spread viruses. If I wanted to infect you all, I would intentionally use this engine, make some primitive game as excuse, and then tell you "hey it's false positive! google it! it's ok for this engine to be like that!" and then I would rub my hands and laugh.
If my intentions were bad, I would attack a bank, certainly not OGA >> Laughs.
I signed up with my real email address. So the police can come and arrest me at my home.

nobody is talking about calling the police. it's not about attacking you or your intentions.
it is about protecting our community members.
and for me it is trying to convey to you a simple premise: i think your game looks cool. i want to play it. i am not going to play it because i have no way to know for sure that these are the standard clickteam false positives or something else. this is an issue for your players and an issue for all the users who make content with clickteam software. again, if a game falls in the forest and there is noone to play it, does it make a sound?
