Recently, OpenGameArt has been slow when opening pages and sometimes doesn't load. Safari(for the Mac) says it's an internal server error. I don't if this has happened to anyone else but the problem persists even after I close Safari and OGA and reopen them. It doesn't seem to be a big deal but it's pretty annoying when going between pages.
I noticed that too. It seems to only occur during a limited timeframe in the morning for me. Please post the earliest time (include timezone) in the morning you (anyone) see this error. We're working on resolving it, but it's hard to track down the cause when it's intermittent. Knowing when it starts will help us fix it

11:56 UTC for me!
3pm UTC (10am CTZ)
The earliest I've noticed it I think is around 9:00 A.M, America/New York time(13:00 UTC).

4:46 PM UTC (6:46 AM Alaska time)
and again at 4:49 UTC.
Okay I haven't had any today; and the site has been running way better. Was the problem resolved?

Hard to tell, but possibly; Botanic found a webcrawler running in circles trying to index a link that went to a page that forwarded to the initial page, so he added some robot instructions.
Please continue posting times if you continue to see frequent 500 errors. It's possble there is more than one page/crawler doing it. And Thanks for your help, everyone. We resolved one issue, at least. :)

Had a couple of server error meesages when uploading files about half an hour ago.
Didin't seem to affect anything though.
Server error 500? Or something else? The 500 error doesn't usually have a message.
--Medicine Storm
Sorry, I forgot to add in my last message which code it was. I was working into the early hours of the morning :P
Don't quote me but I believe it was either 502 or 503. It happened within the upload window prior to submitting but seemed to resolve itself within 2-3 seconds.
Okay, I just got another 500 error, it's 10:13 AM here.

4:19 PM, and a few moments later, clicking on this page, 4:20 PM, UTC. 500 error.
- Maybe the server needs round-the-clock status updates, some kind of error management tool that will automatically detect problems, like a Airbrake's error monitoring software.
12:55 MEST which is 11:55 UTC I think. Same time as bluecarrot!
Error message:
500 Internal Server Error
nginx/1.18.0
10:32 AM here, 14:32 UTC another two errors of the same kind.

Just got a server error trying to load a post about the server errors. Irony.

Started getting them like 15 minutes ago so around 2:24 AM Eastern Standard Time.
Thanks for all the debugging data. We're still trying to figure out the cause, but so far it looks like... just lots and lots of traffic, basically. Botanic has made some adjustments that should allow for more requests without hitting the server's limits, but it might not be the solution to the underlying problem... or it could be exactly what is needed, but traffic may continue to increase, resulting in similar issues again later.
I expect the errors to be less frequent now, at least temporarily, but please continue to indicate when you get the errors so we can track this trend. Again, thanks all for taking the time to help us debug this. :)

-It appears that whole bunch of old members rises from dead recently inspired by dark world energy, not to mention new comers, then vampires from Deviant returner once again to play last songs of Dracula on their violins. I contact some specialist and he say to me in trust on left tab, that occurrence will be at stage till next Black Moon event, eventually. :)
