Background/storyboard pictures in a oil painting like style. 1 Fortress 2 Gate in forest 3 Guardtower by the sea 4 Shoreline 5 Night in the desert

Hi,
I've started a small J-RPG story based on an upgraded version of the Hero Of Allacrost engine.
I wanted to tell you that your paintings are fantastic. (I'm currently using the shore as the main background).
I hope you won't mind. :) I hope to show you some screenies rather soon.
I also wondered whether you could slightly adapt some paintings to make them suitable for a 2D battle ground, since they're perfect for that use.
e.g.: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-dh-7liRsAJ4/TkO0GD-EkXI/AAAAAAAAAI4/-...
as you can see, between the higher enemy sprite displayed and black border or the menu, I'd need a more or less flat part.
Whatever you do, please keep up the good work. :)
Best regards,
Hello Bertram.
Of course i dont mind, looking forward to see the screenshots.
Regarding the 2D battleground it would probably be better to make new images from scratch rather then to change the exixting ones.
It has been a long time since i made any art, but perhaps i could find some time to make somthing.
What type of battleground do you need most (forrest? grassland? desert?) or something else? And what size of the picture would you want?
Best regards
Hi JAP!
Thanks for your agreement and your interest!
Here is how I used the cold moutain background for instance:

As the story will begin in a small mountain village, and the first encounters will happen in
a forest, I'd say that I'll need a forest one followed by a mountain battle background most primarily.
The battle landscape final size are 1024x768 but a bigger size or the one you used for your other pictures is perfect.
I hope to be able to show you moore of the game beginning quite soon. :)
Best regards,
Ah, I'll add that the battle flat part of the screen can be described here quite well:
In red the enemy battle zone,
in blue, the heroes' one:

If you want, you can also draw separate pieces that I'll be able to put in the front ground or place dynamically. E.g.: Stones or rocks placed there and there, variations on the herb, or to the sand that I could make happen during the battle.
My best regards,
I used this in my game on the play store (search "neo santo blaster", I can't put the link here xD), thank you very much! Look in the records :)
It's like you took the images of the story I'm working on out of my head and made the exact images needed for it in an absolutely beautiful manner
