Dark Days of H'Raktha

Currently I am working on a 2D Multiplayer game, I am using the sprite sheets for the LPC entries currently as placeholders as I would like to eventually commercialize the game if possible. But in any event the LPC sprite sheets have been very helpful I would like to thank everyone that contributes to this site, it's awesome! 

I always loved the original Zelda game and I intend to model the feel of this game after that in the sense that the players will fight/move/etc in what I call "zones" each zone is basically a screen like in the original zelda and each "zone" will have exits to the n,s,e,w that connect to the next zone. I am the sole developer on this project and let me tell you it has been rough! I never knew it required so much effort to produce a game.

 

 

The game lore includes a race of evil elves that are pushing for total dominance over the world and unleashing their blood god by blacking out the sun, so some of the game mechanics will include the hero's magic becoming stronger while it is daylight as they try to protect the world from falling into darkness and protecting the eye of Odin (the sun). There will be a lot of Norse mythological references.

Client = XNA framework, Neoforce Controls, Lidgren Network Library, SQL lite, Custom animationa and particle engines.

Client Graphics = OpenGameArt.org, game-icons.net

Server = C# 4.0, Lidgren Network Library, Farseer Physics Engine / XNA library, SQL Lite
