Thanks a lot! :D I've got a later version where I tried to make it look like a glass, but it doesn't look quite like a glass yet, I think. I will probably try working some more later and then update here. :)
Well, if I could, I would make reggae-inspired dubtronica, but as it is, I find it hard to make all the syncopation needed in order to make it cool enough. Too bad. :(
I know it has been stated before, but before doing ANYTHING else, IMHO, the art browsing needs to get a lot better - as it is, it sucks for exploring content. :P
You have very valid and strong points. But where do we get the artist feed from? As far as I know, there aren't any prominent art planet which takes all art assets. There are specialized ones, like http://planet.linuxmusicians.com/ but as you see, it's meant for linux musicians and not (F)OSS art of all types.
It'd be cool to find and use something like that. :)
Julius, soon that won't be enough to beat WeaponGuy, he just keeps posting more. ;)

pfunked: Kind of Monkey Island-like humor on that last one? ;D
Hey, those are nice! Thanks for the find. :)

Challenge idea: Speed
Simply brilliant!
So corny and naive and yet so punchy and cool! :D
Well, if bit-mapped graphics is to be avoided, aren't there any SVG gurus around who could make something there?
Though I guess opening and editing a SVG file might not be that much more easier.
