I really like the look of that tile! I think black and white looks nice but just so you know you do not have to limit to that, you are welcome to use color if you like. Black and white could make a cool final product though.
I think a style like that will definately work. If you like and it are comfortable with it go for it!
That looks amazing! As for sizing, the sizes in the image sem very appropriate. So having it's pictures as they are works fine, but even if they are a little too big , I can scale them down easily.
Thanks again for all the hard work, and Happy Holidays if you celebrate them!
The actual idea came from me just experimenting with a few game concepts. One concept turned into the player "flying" through stuff and barns just kinda made sense. I talked to a friend about the idea and he said like the Atari game and told me about it a little. Then, I just made my version of it and this is what it ended up being.
In the final release of the game, I will probably add a few different game types. One will be to see how far you can fly without crashing, another will be more close to the original, which i just played. Always fun to see the roots of modern gaming.
I want to make the game fun for new players and old so I'm gonna do my best to satisfy everyone.
I tried hooking up an Atari the other day to play the original game because I never have, however, I couldn't get it working. So I don't actually know what the original game is like. Adding birds is definitely a possibility though. I'll look into it.
If you have any other suggestions, feel free to leave them.
That looks amazing! I'm so excited to see your other work.
Silos and hot air balloons will be obstacles that the plane has to avoid, the barn will be able to be flown through, but only the "open doors" part of it. And the clouds are just meant to obstruct your view a little.
I like this a lot. That's what it looked like in my head!
If you removed the "Biplane Concept" I could definately use that for a loading screen. I really like your art style, if you wouldn't mind doing some more art like that, that would be amazing! Thanks!
I drew them up in Paint.net real fast because at the time I didn't care what they textures looked like. I will look through the site though and see what I can find. Nonetheless, finding an artist would be amazing for more specific things that would be harder to find.
Also, finding a set of textures that all go well together are difficult when sorting through them one by one.

And seperate files would be best.
You can absolutely post them! That's perfectly fine with me. I really appreciate it!

Yes, the plane flies along the x-axis.
That is great news though! I'd love to see some stuff. It should be a side view of the plane too, not a top view like in the screenshots.
Im in excited to see what you come up with, thanks again!
I am going for more of a bright cartoony looking game.
The screenshot is from the Java version of it which will become an Android app. I also have a version in Objective-C for the iPhone version and c++.
