These are just so awesome and adaptable. Someone making a platform game with your other assets could jus use some of these as background assets, or in transitions between levels or the title screen or whatever. Brought in as a gameplay element they have even greater potential: They could be bad guys (cute ones, though) attacking from above. They could be NPCs showing up to help the platformer character with lasers or tractor beams as needed, either completely computer run or as targeted by the player's movements. They can be a powerup in a platform game. They can be used as players in racing, copter or Joust-like bumpercars games... or in a puzzle game for a push, tow and drop piece movement game. This pack greatly expands what a game designer can do with the assets already released. Great job, Kenney!
They look good, but I think the arms on the south-facing character need to be longer. Compared to the one facing north you can see that they are noticeably shorter. Based upon the perspective the south-facing arms should be just a teensy bit longer that the other (though perhaps only a pixel) being closer to the camera (like the difference in placement of the toes).
The amazing thing now is that the whole of the RGB color space has been pulled into a GPL license, so all computer art from now one requires use of that license, since all current digital art is derivative of those three colors.
Is the character seen in the preview image but not in any of the download files also released under the CC0 license?

CC0 means anyone can use for anything without prior permission. So go for it!
These are cute. Thanks for releasing under a generous license.
Nice pixel goodness there.
Another great release by Kenney. I used these in my new free game Polar Bear Playing Air Guitar in a Blizzard.

I used the monkey image (with lots of modifications and additional graphics from your other uploads) for my Mini LD game jam entry, Kongo Pongo.
The Flash version can be played online at: http://dannorder.itch.io/kongo-pongo
Thanks, Kenney!
Hey, if you could upload this as a regular art contribution it would help others find it more easily.
