I remember having the option to help orcs or zombies (or alternatively grind them to pulp) in the outstanding game with the ridiculous name Divine Divinity. It was only possible at predefined points in the game as part of a quest but I think there were quite a number of these. It would definitely be cool to move away from the black and white stereotypes common in this genre.
Sounds like very solid stuff. Sometimes it sounds a bit too much like acting instead of sounding natural (battlecries.ogg) but I suppose that effect can be better judged when the sounds are used in combination with visuals. Also some lines are quieter than others ("What would you have me do?" in unitselection.ogg). Those are just some minor points though and I might not have noticed if I hadn't been trying to nitpick. :P
I like your voice acting. The "I fight for honour and glory" bit is a bit weird though. I think your voice goes up slightly too high at "honour" and then there is this awkward pause, which is too long, before adding "and glory". I'm looking forward to your final results.

Looks good.
Looks like high quality stuff to a n00by like me.
Indeed. I was just wondering about the book in the middle at the bottom though. Isn't the perspective of the cross kind of thing in the centre wrong?
Oh yeah, that's funny. I painted this entirely without reference but even the blue colour is almost exactly the same. What are MADBALLS?
Cool stuff anyway.
It's just that it sounds really familiar. Listen to the beginning of Still Another Wanderer from the wesnoth soundtrack and you might get what I mean.
Is this by Timothy Pinkham?
