Luckily I found the grass here and absolutely it is nice.
I've been adding a lot of prototype characters for placeholders and I've found a few here. I made the main character and a lot of non pictured enemies with GIMP,MS Paint and Gamemaker Studio's paint program.
I hear you on the trial and error part, that's what I do often.
I haven't even embarked on the sound effects yet and that is nowhere even close to my expertise, assuming I have any at the moment.
As for the compliments they are well deserved. I appreciate the tutorial video's and the insider tips into the development of more complex texturing and art, as well as the textures you've provided.
I will definitely not forget you when I'm able to contribute donations.
WOW, yeah you're good. I'm definitely envious. As you can tell, I'm a horrible artist in every sense of the word. I certainly can appreciate the effort and ability it truly takes though.
I can almost feel the texture, so you're on to something there.
The lighting and shadows are nice too. I need to work on that as I've noticed it takes the textures to a whole different level
I checked out a few of your tutorials, I've been trying to familiarize myself with GIMP so I really liked that tutorial. I'll be watching it again and again. Nice TIE-FIGHTER reference, I never even thought of that. I've been using your textures more as platforms etc. for a 2d game. I'll upload a few photo's, so you can see how I'm using them so far. Obviously there's a lot of work to go and I haven't really altered them except for making some of them darker but it's a base right now to get me going after starting over and over again. How has your game come along, or was that just for the Blender tutorial?
Hey, thank you for uploading these. They're helping me get back on track. My lousy programmer art just wasn't cutting it. Assuming I ever finish, a credit will definitely go to you and your talents. Thanks again.

I'll check out your Patreon as well.

I like it, thank you. Not 100% sure if I'll end up using it but I got a kick out of it, so maybe some adjustments and I'll use it as a NPC.
