Freedom is not to ask for brewery, its asking how you brew that beer. That said, here we dont bash the brewer for distributing his beer for free without telling his recipe. But if we knew how its brewed, there is a better chance that we would help. Who knows, may be that beer is made from the blood of the assistants :)

There was a big hit shooter game on kongregate, cant remember the name. It was all about story and the story made it a huge success. Infact it was so crappy shooter, the only thing made me finish the game was the story. On this point its almost safe to say that if you have a killer story, the game type really doesnt matter. Crappy stories doesnt add up to an arcade game, it can be better off without a story. But a really good story will make it better. For these matters, you can try to extract info from kongregate, as it has a huge user base and tons of games. I found the game:

Cruzr: the difficulty of 2D/3D art is open to debate. I am no artist but still can create mediumish quality 3D art. I cannot say the same for 2D. That said, creating a AAA quality 3D game requires not only nice mid poly models but also need multiple mesh resolutions, high quality textures, proper pixel shader effects and so on. But creating a AAA quality 2D game is attainable.

RainHippie, dont listen to anyone about programming language, including me. Try them all and find the one which you feel comfy. I would recommend C++, its hard to learn, easy to make mistakes; but if you truly learn it, its the language for gaming.

If you need a game engine, please consider GGE/Phobos chain. Soon (our soon might differ from what you have in your mind) GGE 4.0 will be released with pixel shader support. Here are some links, and if you like I can supply several games to get you started:

What about graphic/sound kits for a specific genre? I know tons of packages out there that could use expansion. Using an already established asset and having a contest to expand it will help alot too.

They look quite good though.

They still need texturing but here they are. I will submit them later on when I have finished with entire kitchen.

Here is the cooker and improved fridge. Total scene is 660 polies/1.4k trigs. Texturing is left on those two. I might go ahead and do the whole kitchen. But that'll take time. For the credit part, my name and if possible link to oga profile would be nice. But later on I might want the link to be switched. We are trying to build our web site but as the rest of the things, its going slow.
