The rope swinging works fine for me, but you need to press the up arrow key when in contact with a rope, not just hold it down. I don't know if that might be the issue? If not I'll have a look through the code more thouroughly.
I'm not 100% sure what causes the high jump after checkpoint bug, but nice to see that the bosses are working at least ^^ (I hope!)
I think the enemies getting stuck in holes is just a minor issue like you say, I can of course make them jump over the holes, as I don't really want them to turn around. That would make the pigs harder to deal with though.
I used the same method as MedicineStorm, in Spring's Adventure Doggo ^^
It isn't too complicated, depending on what engine you use of course. You just need that cosine fuction which transforms an x/y coordinate into a vector and back, if you can follow ^^

Ahh, maybe in the future but not right now, as I'm not sure about how to get GMS2 to compile for that.
Great, I'll do that when making new songs then!
Ah, the song in your video sounds great! Very athmospheric and gloomy! ^^

Ah, I joined too.
@chasersgaming, about the platforms, I think there will be only releases for Windows and Ubuntu, no mobile systems.
AH this is gibberish!
I will send it to you over discord instead @chasersgaming
...
@chasersgaming are you using game maker?
If so, I can share my rope swinging function from SAD if you like.
