That sounds great!  I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Both in the interests of the site being sustainable, and your personal sanity, I am very glad for any additional source of revenue, especially with the tasteful way that it's being handled here.

Thanks!

Re: scarf: Ask Protoman.

Though Xeon isn't actually a robot.  There's something living inside that armor, though who or what is yet to be revealed (/decided or imagined).

Well, if you ever need any RL references, you know who to call =D

They are absolutely gorgeous, though the gems look a bit... translucent (and the crown on the emerald is shallow enough that the stone is heavily windowed, but I am probably the only person who would ever care about that).  It's not really a huge issue, but they might look more impressive with livelier gems.

Thanks guys!

@Bertram: by all means, please do.

@leeor_net: I appreciate that.  I've been working on this set for 2 and a half years off and on, and it's finally approaching minimal completion for full game usage (though of course I want to expand beyond that, too).

@Vestrel: Thanks!  I saw that it was in your game collection, and I'm honestly very interested in seeing what you end up doing with it.

(For the record, re LPC asset licensing: I would be open to more permissive licensing as an artist, but that's entirely Bart's and the other partners' decision.  They paid the bills, so they pick the license.)

As anyone who's been in the IRC for a long time knows, a good way to get the channel hopping is to start a discussion about what CC-By-SA *really* means (and, of course, what it *should* mean).  If I were running a project I would definitely be uncomfortable with using -By-SA licensed stuff unless I could somehow license everything under it.  CC-By does have one or two issues of its own (the DRM thing), but they appear to be relatively easy to circumvent.  Generally, I avoid even making derivatives of -By-SA art, just since I don't think it's going to be terribly useful.

Hmm... ok, I can see how it might look better in motion.  You have to admit, having the tail pasted *over* the wing is a pretty big oversight--but I suppose I can see it if the moving is going at a very quick pace.  And I suppose the stylistic inconsistencies are probably just the result of multiple artists having to go at a quick pace (which might also mop up things like the weird cutting and aa issues which appear on otherwise good graphics).

Anyway, that's fair enough.  Hopefully there won't be any other issues than the ones that have already been cleared up.

(And, to be perfectly fair.  Any licensing issues aside, I have to be impressed by *anyone* who can complete an indie JRPG.  That takes a lot.)

Ah, ok, so it wasn't meant to answer my questions, just bringing up something else.  I would, however, appreciate it if you would address that--I'm having trouble, from the imagine, understanding how that dragon could have come to be.
