Maybe we can help you with some small things to make your cards look a bit better. Like a general card concept, or some small symbols. Even if they just act as a placeholder it may be a help.

You can't tell us what its about in general, but you could describe it. (i.E. a turning arrow from left to right, a small sword, a burning arrow...)

If you want to learn it (and not just create the best you can with you current skill level) I would suggest to get a pencil, some paper and draw with that.

Start a "sketch book" and dont show it to anyone, to make sure you feel comfortable to draw ugly. You will draw alot of things that look bad (everyone does it), but you will learn threw that.

Draw by reference to learn something new. i.E. google for "face" and draw 10 noses, heads, whatever. (Dont publish them / possible licence violation).

If you also drawing with a tablet, get a second monitor.

Most importantly, keep your fun! Just making studies may be good for your drawing skills, but it becomes boring, so dont over do such things.

I think the best thing you can do is to get some bucks together (Friends, Family, Fools) and hire a professional artist for 1-3 Card Designs. This way you have something to show for kickstarter and with the kickstarter money pay for the designs of your first set.

Sure you can ask for free designs here, but I dont think that anyone is willing to draw a bunch of high quality cards without knowing anything about the game and giving them to you as a gift. If they are released here as CC-BY-(SA) someone else can use the graphics too, and it sounds like you dont want that.

If an open licence is not a problem you can browse here the allready uploaded art. I am sure there is something to use in the Concept-Category or some arts from wtactics.

As a sidenote, I am sure that it is a good way to get donators at kickstarter if you invested atleast the $100 for some graphics when you want others to spend their money for your idea.

Have you playtested your game? Currently it sounds more like an idea, but I think a game should be played to detect possible flaws, and these should be found before you spend your money on a patent.

Best of luck anyway!

Sorry that I have to be honest, but your contributions are always awesome... May I request that you post something ugly? Too much perfectionism is not good!

Thanks for your input. I have installed LMMS now and played a little bit around with it. Starting now to watch some tutorial videos. Looks promising.

Anyway, any other software tipps very welcome.

You made a lot of nice contributions lately. Since most people would not use just one of them, but more or all. It would be nice to "link" them together, either merge them into one contribution or you could create a collection.

Btw. I like your new preview style!

At first I thought: Oh just a video, and nearly closed the window. Just stayed because I was curious what the game would look like.

No Idea how to play the first game, maybe I was just to lazy. But got stuck after I was below the earth and had to choose something.

General: Please don't use "z" as an inputkey. There are keyboards with switched Z/Y - Keys (like the layout used in Germany). I know how to switch my keyboard layout fast (Shift+Alt), but I am sure that most people are not, and will just skip your game.

Nevertheless, very nice for 1-week games.
