It is confusing. People claim that bitmap fonts are exempt from copyright rules in most of the countries if not all. If it is so I can get this font and re-upload as CC0. But this doesn't sound right to me
The latter sounds more reasonable and that way you can keep track of who did what. It can be a separate file referenced by a simpler credits file

You can view it with inkscape. It doesn't show up in the browser because the drawing is outside the page boundary.
BTW, it would be nice if you moved it to 2d.
