I don't have as much RPG experience as you.

What I like is to specialize. So I don't like Runescape where you have to raise practically every skill to do the quests. And I don't like Bard's Tale where you have a whole group.

I like to produce something (crafting). That's good about Runescape.

I like MMO.

I don't like permadeath like in rogue-likes.

I hated the controls in one game from the Elder Scrolls series. Was it Morrowind? Or Oblivion? There was the same key responsible for talking and attacking...very bad!

Currently I don't play proprietary RPGs anymore. The money is one reason but not the main reason. It's just that I like the open source principle so much.

I don't like RPGs where the players insist on always being in-character that means always playing the role. I like to not take the role-playing too serious.

I like graphics. Don't need to be super-duper graphics, but I don't enjoy textonly-RPGs.

[Edit: I don't like too much action in relation to quests etc. Like jumping or too much fighting.]

Uhmm.. that was it. Sure there's more but i don't remember more.

Yes. I definitely have that strong lag, too, while I can access many other sites really fast.

But instead of demanding "This should be fixed" we should appreciate this amateur project. Afaik this website is run by volunteers, not by professionals. (Admins correct me if you make tons of money wirh OGA.)

Donating for a faster server would probably help.

I don't think you can nft a file which copyright is by someone (Who didn't give the right to nft it). You can technically but it is illegal. The copyright holder can sue the person who nft-ed the file. At least that's my understanding. I think NFT is simply a form of DRM.

If I understand it correctly it's a platform for viewing art, and it makes it illegal to view this art outside of the platform. (Or at least it proves that you bought a legal copy.)  So it is some kind of artificially created scarcity. It's like DRM on steroids. Buyers are people who like the "intellectual property" concept and want something precious.

Some explanation is here:

https://www.forbes.com/advisor/investing/nft-non-fungible-token/

I personally think it's crap, but I understand that others think different. But it might be useful for buying tickets for a concert or for a sports event.

OpenGL is usable ontop of SDL.

You wrote: "If some artist agrees to cooperate, I will document the progress."

I would suggest the opposite: Make a github repository, decide on an open source license, then show the link to the project here. But this is just a suggestion, it's up to you.

It seems to me that your game is realtime strategy. So it could be called MMORTS. But even if the category doesn't fit, I don't care. What matters is that the game seems to be promising.

Sounds like a good plan.

But it seems more like a strategy game than an roleplaying game. Because there isn't a player character with attributes, inventory, walking around etc. Which isn't bad. Just different.

Currently I can place weapons everywhere, not only neighbouring fields! Even on water.

I can "overwrite" other weapons! (I guess the green weapons are enemies?)

EDIT: What does MMORG mean? I guess something different than MMORPG.

Yes, I'm Trox. :)

Some feedback:

The 2D map looks good.

 I don't understand what the number-keys do.

What's the game about? Building towers and shooting from them?

(I use Linux with Chromium. Everything seems to work.)
