I like it :) Would be good for a world map.

Looks really good :)

It might have been better to make it a bit smaller though, for it to not be so large in comparison to other Wesnoth units.

I also liked the original coloring you gave to the unit better than the current one:

The team-colored shoulder was quite cool as well.

Nice, thanks for your efforts, Zabin!

Hey infinitum3d, the art isn't mine, but of artists from whom I commissioned it. You are correct that it is not strictly top-down, but it isn't isometric either - it is something in-between (inspired by Warcraft 2 style graphics), designed to work with a top-down engine, while still giving the player a better view of what buildings and units look like.

@Buch: Great to know that you intend to release it under CC0! And thanks for your offer for doing paid commissions; at the moment I have two pixel artists already doing commissioned work for me, but I'll keep you in mind for the future!

Looks quite nice. I'm particularly interested in the objects, which I could use for my RTS project, Wyrmsun. What license are you thinking of using?

Zabin, are you still in contact with Hyptosis? If so, and if it wouldn't be too much work, could you ask him whether licensing the art you posted under the GPLv2 would be ok for him? I am interested in using his art in my project, but I would like to keep all content under the same license (GPLv2).

infinitum3d, I have uploaded some top-downish RTS sprites in this site. You can find them here:

The gold mine and the dwarven buildings might be of particular interest to you.

Thank you very much! :)

Nice! Could you also license it under the GPL 2.0?
