More RPG enemies! This time I focused on fossils, because fossils are cool. Actually, someone suggested I draw a wolf, and it ended up as the fossil T-Rex(ish) skeleton, so I made the others to match. Pictured are, from left to right:
A T-Rex/Generic Therapsid
A Trilobite
A Cyclops/Giant (note: the skull is based off of dwarf mammoth skulls which may have formed a basis of the myth of the cyclops)
A crocodile/alligator/gavial/ghariel.
A pterodactyl.

Awesome as always. Thanx
These are great, I'm just wondering if you have (or can make) editional sprites for these fossils for movement.
These are intended as static RPG enemies, ala Final Fantasy 6. Animating them would be a rather laborious process, not only because of the perspective but also because of the high color count and shading style.
Ah, well, that makes sense.
Thanks for your quick response. They're still great images though, I'm sure I can find somewhere to use them.
Wow these are great, perfect for my purpose to use in a game compo - I will link back if they end up in the game :]
I used some of these in a 48 hour game compo, they are absolutely fantastic!
Since I only had 48-hours, the artwork I used or made is very inconsistent. This is the style I can definitely aim for!
If you are interested you may find it at Ludum Dare. Thanks!
Hi Redshrike I modded the carnosaur and uploaded it here: http://opengameart.org/content/fossil-undead-rpg-enemy-mod-therapsid-cha...
Thanks for linking me! Looks like it could be quite useful.
