What are people's favorite OSTs from games?
There are a few i like, partially chemical plant zone from sonic 2, however, my all time favourite music sound tracks has to be streets of rage 1&2. Yuzo koshiro made some great tracks for those games they still hold up even to today's standard.:)

Good choices in there. Although I haven't always been a fan of the Sonic games, they've always had some of the best music. Sonic Adventures for the Dreamcast is in my top 5 soundtracks easily.
Chrono Trigger: https://youtu.be/mEoN_Xe-B-s
--Medicine Storm
I always think Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion deserves a mention, it's far superior to Skyrim.
I'd say top 5 in no order
Jet Set Radio, Sonic Adventures, Final Fantasy 8, Legend of Dragoon, Perfect Dark 64
I think you posted the wrong link. It is a comic site. There is no music on it.was spam. Thanks for pointing it out.

Asphalt 8 Airborne
GTA 5
Tekken 3

The soundtracks for Golden Sun: The Lost Age, and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (both for the GBA) will always be special for me.
As for more recent games, Rimworld has an outstanding soundtrack that fits the game very well.
Golden Sun was a game I played a lot as a kid but can't remember the soundtrack. I bet if I listened memories would come rushing back. Rimworld has a really really fitting soundtrack. I love the western but not too western feel of it.
HOMM IV especially the Nature theme.

Command and Conquer!!!!
Batman the Caped Crusader on my Amiga:

I used to boot that disk just to listen to the title music. I could never even get anywhere in the game (not sure if that was the game's fault or mine) but man did that title track light my fire!
Two other soundtrack from Amiga games I would actually play also spring to mind.

This one opens strong and never lets up! and of course, the loading screen taunt is not to be missed:

Love it! The whole intro cinematic that plays is so epic, especially the general smiling right as the music kicks in. Never fails to put me in the mood for some world conquest!
From the PS1 era, the Wipeout soundtracks always got a lot of love, but I think N20 had the hotter hits:

Of more recent vintage, I've always thought the inFamous soundtrack was something special.

Mostly because it crackles with a kind of electric tension that really fits the game itself. Feels like a spark about to go off.
And, of course, the Demon's Souls soundtrack is on constant rotation at my house.

And finally two numbers I'll toss out there just to give the ill-fated Wii U some love.
I am a big fan of the Mario 3D World Big Band's work on Super Mario 3D World, especially that Super Bell Hill number:

Just like game itself, I think the whole soundtrack does a great job of capturing the whimsical magic of the classic NES games within the context of a much more modern production (eg. 3D graphics and a full orchestra instead of 2D graphics and a wave generator). Plus the band is just so darn cute!

I'm also a big fan of the title track to Mario Maker.

I always sing along as 'brick-by-brick-by-brick', great music for when you are building something.

I recently started playing through Transistor. Some really neat music in there. I really love how it's really futuristic but still relies heavily on guitar.
Final Fantasy 8, Legend of Dragon, taken 3,Fast & Furious 5
Final Fantasy 8 and LOD soundtracks MADE ME.
Asphalt 8 Airborne GTA 5 Tekken 3 Smash Bros

+1 for streets of rage 2.
@Spring - Hell March from Red Alert is a stomper!
Star Wars: Dark Forces - Gromas Mines

Has this tense and somewhat mysterious feel, fitting for the hostile atmosphere of the level.

Emperor: Battle for Dune - Harkonnen Force

Pumping soundtrack.

Descent: Freespace - Briefing 3

This one gives you the creeps.
Probably biased by nostalgia, but hey.
Suikoden 1 and 2, Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, Undertale, VVVVVV, Jet Set Radio, Jet Set Radio Future and Rogue Legacy
For anyone familiar with the Mega Man/Rockman series, in what order would you rank their soundtracks?
For me, the order from best to worst is:
2 > 3 > 1 > 4 > 6 > 5 > 8 > 9 > 10 > 7 > 11
Even 11 is still a great soundtrack imo (if not as special as the others)
