Aloha!
These medals were first meant to be the faction symbols in first person shooter, Axis Revenge. But as the project got cancelled, I contacted the stock artist (http://night-fate-stock.deviantart.com) and the original developer of the game, and got the full permission to use them wherever I want. The eagle model in the center of the axis badge was made from some old medallion or badge that I found after browsing google images and used that as a reference.
Anyways, would be shame to delete those symbols so I hereby grant you the right to use them whenever you want, if you promise to show me where you used them! (Also a note to credits would be nice)
Cheers,
J

Awesome stuff Jani! Hope you decide to post some non-central Weaver stuff on here too :)
A little too grungy, and the drop shadows are unnecessary. Aside from that, not bad. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
/sigh
Post #2, Anonymous, was me. I really dislike that this site allows Anonymous posting at all.
Don't know why it has the shadow at all. I did these last April or May so I didn't even remember they were there anymore. Now I can see plenty of stuff that I would do other way, saw it promising enough to be posted though.
About the grungy feeling, it was meant to be very grim because of the overall mood of a WW2 shooter.
hey very nice medals =) i hope to see more of your work here =)
Cheers.
Really nice! I plan to use them as "line of sight" markers in a "axis and allies: global" boardgame mod.
