Aw. I wuv em. How is this a failed experiment?
Wow, loving these!
It's a failed experiment because the intent was for a clean and simple console platformer style (think Sonic or Mario) instead I got carried away with my usual process of premature colour consolidation and burying every available pixel in noise.
Failed experiment or not, these tiles are wonderful!
Going to try this in a html5 experiment! keep in contact! thanks!!
This isn't a failed experiment if you considered either emulating the 1st gen SNES era (90-91 when dark shades were looked heavily down upon to distance itself from Megadrive) or the GBA style games (where the screen is so dark you NEEDED bright ugly garish pastel colors)
Very nice!
I love this! Can I have your email? I have a proposition for you, surt. It invovles a game I am making. Please email me at whackeddie99@gmail.com
wow, this is nice! Would be so awesome to have a matching cave set.
As far as experiments go, this is one gone wonderfully right.
this is awesome... thanks for sharing...
Using with my opensource project

Tks a lot!
I added a crate in the same color palette... pretty much a cut and paste hack job :)
These are beautiful.
I repacked your tiles into an easier to use form. Don't give me credit for doing this since it's essentially monkey work.
I was thinking with this tileset if you removed the posts and rope from the bridge tile you could set it up so you have 1 layer rendered after the main character. Then put the posts and rope on that layer and it would look like the main character is walking across the bridge behind the ropes and posts. This layer could also be used for other things also.
Since the player would walk on top of the floor anyway you cand do what you're saying without removing the rope & posts :)
Reworked and added absent tiles. Don't want credit, do want to save others doing the same thing.
I made a game using this nice tileset, it's available on PC and Android, and soon on Dreamcast !

Has anyone bought the game yet? I'd like to buy it actually
The real question is if anyone has bought the Atari Jaguar version?
Would love to know how that one plays! :)
Anyway, I picked up a copy for PC off itch.io but I guess itch.io is having troubles with it's storage provider (google) so I can't download it right now. Will let you know when I get a chance to try it out.
From the trailer it looks like a lot of fun!
very nice, thanks you bro!
Could you make a Pallete PLz?
The png should be indexed so the palette should be stored in the file. If I remember I'll dump the palette to pixels later.
EDIT: done and switch to CC0.
EDIT2: started reworking this some, but grew bored when I got to here.
Sweet!! Thanks :)
I love it but the tiles aren't really user-friendly. I think the edits are nicer. Are all the edits CC0?
I would assume so, because the original is CC0, and they said they don't want credit.
I love this tileset! Can I use it in my new game?
@Denislav: The license is CC0 so you most certainly can! Giving surt credit for the tiles would be nice courtsey, but even that is not strictly required.
Thanks for sharing this tileset, i like it so much~~I will use it on my game~
Very nice!
What program do you make this in?
It's pixel art, specific software is irrelevant, any pixel art friendly image editor will do.
Very nice. For new version of Mario it will be a great starting point! Thankyou!
Saw this via pinterest. I love the colour scheme. Is this the Pico-8 palette by any chance?
Hi there.
I'm use this package in my new game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.WorldOfOneHero.KnifeKa...
This is so helpful for my education in pixel art! Great! Thanks!!
I like this tileset I use it in my project. Do I have to give you credits?
Thank you very much. I am going to try this set out in UNITY and Construct 3.
