".jpeg" Filename Extension not Allowed for Uploads

Forums:

It's a simple task to rename files with the ".jpeg" extensions. But seems like the site should support uploading ".jpeg" files since they are usually the same thing.

Couldn't Rename Collections Without Editing Description

Forums:

No idea why this was occurring with some collections & not with others, but it's a weird behavior. I was attemting to rename two of my collections (without any other changes) & every time I would recieve the message "To complete this form, please complete the word verification below". I would then fill out the verification text & press "save". But it wouldn't take & would show the message about completing the form again. It wasn't until I edited the description that my changes successfully saved.

The two collections in question were:

Can't Remove Node from Collection

Forums:

I'm trying to remove the node 69391, which doesn't exist anymore, from my collection. But so far have been unable to do so.

-- Edit --

Same thing seems to be happening with node 73126 in this collection.

[Solved] Can't Edit My Collection

Forums:

I can't seem to edit/update my collection found here: https://opengameart.org/node/77025. I have been able to edit other collections. Attached is a screenshot of the error. I have tried editing the title only, with multiple different titles. And, I have tried editing the description only. Both result in the same error, that the art collection cannot be referenced.

I want to change the title, if possible, to "CC0 - 2D Art", & the description to "Collection of 2D art licensed under Creative Commons Zero (CC0)."

Thumbnail links expanding causes accidental link clicks

Forums:

While looking through a search results page full of sound files, I find myself constantly accidentally clicking the file's link when I move my mouse down to click the play button. This is because it often covers the center of the button when it expands. The full name should be implemented as a tooltip on hover instead. I'm a firm believer that changing the size of a clickable region on hover is very user-unfriendly for exactly this sort of reason.

[Solved] Can't Specify Author When Uploading New Content

Forums:

According to the FAQs, if I upload a work that I did not create myself (or, I assume, a derivative of another's work) I need to specify the original author. However, I haven't figured out how to do this. When creating/editing my content, under "Is this your own work?" I select "No". After clicking "Save", the content fails to be uploaded/updated with the error message "You must specify an author". However, I don't see any field to add the author's name.

[Solved] Get "ID" URL

Forums:

Normally, URL links to OpenGameArt content are in the form of content/<name>. But I recently discovered that with my own art, I can click "Edit" or "Revisions" & it opens a new page with the URL in the format of node/<ID>. It seems to me that using this "node/ID" URL would be better for linking back to OpenGameArt as the formentioned seems to change if the name of the content is changed. Whereas, I believe the "node/ID" URL is permanent. But, I haven't figured out how to retrieve the "node/ID" URL for other contributors content.

Unblock Request - Have new 3D Models and Music to opensource distribution.

Forums:

Hello. I submit a request the unblocking of the mikeeusa account. In the time since it has been blocked and now, said artist has completed various 3d models (such as a Tec9 weapon, as-well as medieval weapons such as Sai, brass cudgel) as-well as new recorded music. The blocking stemmed from a disagreement on the forum and not from any impropriety regarding the works. Why not unblock so a new batch of works can be added to your site? Pls unblock

Change Request for Credits feature

Forums:

Hi all!

Just finished my submission for the Summer 2017 Game Jam!

To keep track of all the assets I used and give them proper credits, I used the 'Download Credits File' feature of the Collections sytem.

First off, let me say it was awesome!   I thought it was a pretty good idea when the system was added, but using it I can say it is a GREAT idea!   It works really well, is simple to do and the CREDITS.TXT file did indeed save me a ton of time when making the credits for the game.

Just one small request:

Search results with many repeated pages.

Forums:

Hi, new user here so not sure if it's a bug or a quirk of the site.

Did a search in the sound effects section for "Power Up" and got 199 results, but only about 5 unique pages. The first voice over pack was repeated ~100 times, with the other unique entries repeated 10+ times each.
