Sorry if this is very obvious; I couldn't find anything in the FAQ or searching.
On artwork pages, between the "Add to Favorites" and "Report Spam" buttons, is the "I'm Using This!" button, which you can toggle between "I'm not using this".
What does it do, apart from remember your choice? For example, favourites leads to badges and adds things to the Favorites tab in your profile pages, but I couldn't find anything else to do with "I'm Using This!".
I know there's a theory that keeping the number of 'supported' licenses small makes submitting work easier, but seeing alot of works come through lately with a 'compatible' or 'similar' licenses.
Setting aside all the legal and ethical questions with this practice, it seems like when someone searches the site for 'CC-BY 3.0' (or whatever) artwork, they should get artwork licensed as 'CC-BY 3.0' not 'CC-BY 3.0* read the submission notes, this license is probably the same or at least very similar but I am not a lawyer'
Can an admin post something about the state of the site?
Not looking for any news or details about the issue, it would just be great if something mentioning the current issue with comments could make it's way onto the front page, like in the blog-rss section.
It's been a few days now and it'd be great to at least have something on the front page letting folks know there's an issue.
I can not post a comment using either firefox or chromium in linux (all I plan on testing). Pressing save brings you to a blank page with VERY little html on it and does not post. Interestingly the preview button kind of works now.
Good luck fixing the problem and when you are done could you please combine these posts into one thread?
I can't post any comments to any forums, keep getting blank white page when hitting save message. so i can't even respond to my own messages. Except to say that unreal 4 won't run on my computer becaues it wants a top of the line machine to run it on, so it don't support my cpu. Not just a vista windows problem.
This is in response to capbros forum post "Comments Broken?" (http://opengameart.org/forumtopic/comments-broken). I have the same problem, and it appears to extend to commenting on forum posts - thus I couldn't reply to your post directly. What is most worrying is that I first noticed the problem when we got this recent wave of spam.
Since yesterday morning, I am just getting a blank white page everytime I try to post a comment on OGA.
Could be just my browser/account, but I notice there aren't any new comments from anyone else in that time either, so just reporting the issue in case it is a site-wide problem.
OpenSearch allows websites to specify their own search mechanisms for the search bar of browsers. This means that you could search for resources from the search bar.
See the wikipedia and twitter links? This would allow OGA to be added there too. It's as simple as this. In the <head> of all webpages:
