I couldn't find a discussion about this and don't know whether something technical or just missing time is preventing this.
But may I suggest to look into whether the CSS and JS files could be compressed into one each. I think this and adding expires headers on those would greatly improve the speed and convinience of using the site.
I noticed it on that page. The 'Register' button that can be seen at the bottom of the page while not signed in doesn't take users to the registration page when clicked on. It seems to just refresh the current page.
Currently it's cumbersome to browse and play though the music section. At a minimum, a radio player should allow users to have a listen, rate and 'favorite' tracks, and maybe edit playlists.
The benefit to users of OGA is that they'd be more likely to find music to use for their projects, and for the musicians, better exposure of their works and a way to get quick feedback (the ratings). This also might make OGA more entertaining to browse, and may encourage more community participation in the music and sound effect categories.
In the handy FAQ, it is rather confusing since it says that " Technicallyall of the art on this site is legal for use in commercial projects -- however, some of the licenses require you to distribute the source code of your entire project for free," ... yet in the following descriptions of each license, none of them say if they require the project they are used in to become open-source.
