Recently I came across a neat 3x5 bitmap font, and wanted to share it on OGA (plus my derivative too). Unfortunately it's using the 3-clause BSD which is not a license OGA supports.
I guess I can try to contact the authors to see if they're willing to use a more appropriate license*, but is it possible to submit this art anyway, and how?
A few days ago, I started a new topic in the Show Off Your Project forum, and it's been held in the moderation queue ever since. That's all right, it's not like I'm in a hurry, but the problem is that in the mean time I can't access my post at all. What if I want to edit or delete it before it's seen by a moderator? There's not even an indication, anywhere in the website, that I have a post held in moderation at all.
I somehow created duplicate collections (probably me hiting save, then remembering to check "List this collection in the archive" and hitting save again):
I maintain (with some help) the LPC art collection. When I visit the page, the art is in the order which it was added to the collection (I think). Instead, it would be nice to have that collection ordered by the most popular art first. This should make the best art more easily accessible in very large collections like this one.
This obvious mega-man edit shows up in the gallery when I'm logged out and I can view it when logged out, but when I log in and try to view it I am told "You are not authorized to access this page." and it is gone from the gallery.
This has happened a couple times in the past.
EDIT: now it's gone from both. I guess it was deleted and just slower to remove from public view?
It's not clear when you've actually submitted a comment, it looks like it's disconnected, so you press "post" again, and end up double or even triple posting. I'm not sure how other sites solve this problem, but it's only ever happened here. Anyone else experience this?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but a recent post got me thinking, would it be useful to have a place on the site for folks to post color palettes?
When creating new art it might be nice to start with a nice, well thought out palette. From various comments, it seems like most the seasoned artists around this site already have a palette of palettes so to speak that they draw on, but for noobs and programmer artists such as myslef, it could be helpful.
