My experiences have generally been similar to yours along those lines. I actually tried several times to get the offending files to load, even restarting the application and doing it manually. It didn't make a difference, so in this case, I suspect that there's an actual bug somewhere that's causing the issue.
At first glance, your font sizes look really odd. Do you have a minimum font size set in your preferences? I'm playing around with my firefox preferences and I can't figure out how to make the page look like that on my browser.
If it's because of a font size setting, for accessibility reasons, I'd like to make sure it at least renders in a somewhat usable way, but I can't promise I'll be able to make it look perfect for you.

Does disabling Nosquint make the site difficult to use?

@surt: Do you really browse OGA with Lynx? I can't tell for sure if you're kidding or not, and I'm curious how well Drupal handles text-only browsers.
I built this site and run Firefox almost exclusively.
Please post your OS, browser version, and a screenshot of the issue, and I'll consider this issue reopened.
