Since it's a challenge and not a contest there aren't any prizes, although there is supposed to be a special badge for winning.  We've been talking over ways to do the challenges so that they don't just disappear, that's why they stay on the sidebar as finished for a while now and they didn't do that before.  Do you have any other ideas?

Okay, so it looks like the sprites are from RPG Maker 2000 and so have the same restrictions as the other RPG Maker things.  I'm uncertain about the minecraft tiles, they both have elements that don't match the rest.  The first one is definately not okay, it's pieced together from other texture pacts, the cake specifically is from this: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/67541.htm and I suspect the second one is the same.

I don't think you'll get a lot of people offering to help you map until you've got a set graphics pack, changing graphics will drastically change maps.

You should just get your stuff from here or LPC, looks like crawling the web for free art is giving you nothing but greif.  Or you could hire someone.

I don't know who told you that it was fine to use those tiles however you wanted, because they're edits of RPG Maker tiles, which are only allowed to be used in RPG Maker games if you own the specific version that those tiles came with and editing them doesn't change that licence.  The sprites may be okay, they look like they might be FF6 edits, but then again they might not be.  BTW, there's a known site glitch that inflates the download numbers of the first two graphics in any post, I wouldn't worry about that.

I've been thinking seriously about working on my highly detailed set again. http://sharmclucas.deviantart.com/art/Detailed-RPG-forest-mockup-336635256   I haven't decided if I want it free or not but I'm wondering if that's more of the style you'd want.

Right now the plan is to use the LPC art and use funding to expand on it.  Would that be high enough quality or were you thinking of something else?

A sign is a good idea, I'll have to put one in when I update with more monsters.

Thanks for all the complements, everyone!

Honestly, it's the pallet that's amazing.  Dawnbringer worked really hard to make it flexible and useful and he did an excellent job with it.

Nijma: You can post them in the comments or make your own submission.  I won't be adding them to this set though, I'd like to keep it my own stuff.  BTW, there's an edit button if you want to add more to a post you've already made.

Surt: Thanks!  Wasn't sure that was going to work, but it seems to.

The engine will now support 16x16 and 64x64 tiles as well as the original 32x32!  This means more of the tiles you find here on OGA will be usable.  Most RPG making software only supports 32x32.
