Thanks for your comments, I have told them that they can copyright there OWN material but not my CCO work, As it is public domain and shall remain that way. Unless they have made changes to the work itself.

I think they are just confused about copyright licenses, and they understand what I am saying and have apologised if they have caused any upset to me, which they hadn't really, I just freaking out about if that could happen about someone copyrighting my own work, so now that my mind is set to rest I will continue to create CCO work and I'm going to tAke this all with a pinch of salt and move on, I'm not going to publicly name them as we can all make mistakes from time to time, so we all learn something.

thanks for all your comments, was a big help.

@Duion thanks for your response, that's good to hear, il have to see if he/she has made any changes to the artwork and make them aware that they cannot and should not copyright my material.

First thing To do is to find the right software for you, some work better for particular games, but generally once your really good at the software it shouldn't make a difference what software  you use for what game you are making because you can work with it, but it will be what preference you have to what you think is easier to learn.check the features and interface it offers, what will be good for you? Most have cross-platform exports and most have a free download for you to try it out.

try em and see which feels right.

good luck with your games!

Sounds good, if no filter system system, how about a request section? Were gamedev can request art and we can contribute. Maybe for there gamejams for example. Although not sure how that would play out for paided artists.just a thought....what about creating a "collection" with certain art in it, would it be easier to see what themed art is popular than a random Sprite, I don't know, I'm just rambling, haha.

sadly i don't have time to comit to such a project, which sounds like a very good idea and i wish you well with it. the sprites i make are 2D, which i make monthly and the genre changes each time,I'm still learning pixel art myself, and im not the greatest but pratice is good for me.

My pixel art is Free to use and is a Free license so you are more than welcome to use any that you think you can use, hope that is helpful.

Maybe when your making a profit, perhaps a small donation to help buy my tea bags would be cool.

Good luck!
