This was a direct inspiration for the song. It uses the limitations of the system to great effect and was something I was trying to do given the poor quality samples.
The unique flair is my inability to make something purely Baroque/Classical; it betrays my inexperience with music, but I still liked how it turned out and I'm glad you did too.
I just muted the percussion on the song and re-exported it. Personally I don't think it sounds that great without the drums, but if you can use it for something, go for it.
That sounds like an interesting way to go about it. But the way surt when about it also seems like an interesting approach: require that the person have contributed art/music/code in order to consider it.
Hence my asking the question: "Did I miss something...?" And I wasn't the only one wondering... so no need to get defensive, surt. You may have given him what he wanted, but you don't need to be facetitious with people who are asking questions (in this case my question, not the original).
MoikMellah, thanks for the thoughtful response that clarified my question. That's the kind of response that will lead to more open community. I see now that I misread the original comment.
The preview is actually the HQ version; I didn't realize you wouldn't be able to dl that. Uploading HQ version as downloadable now.

Glad you dig it! It was fun to make.
Thanks, I'm not very good at this type of music. Hope to get better, though.

Good to know! Thanks!
Thanks, Delirius. Out of curiosity, where does the first part end and the second part begin for you (around what time)?
