On the plus side, you can still take advantage of the graphics generated for the contest.  So there's that.

(Note that this is the exact why I never independently release my work under -By-SA, though I do understand why people would value copyleft enough to deal with the hassle)

On an unrelated note, I do love the skins, and they definitely stand above a standard hue-shift in quality.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's not something worth doing--this sort of project can be a lot of fun and build up good skills.  I just want to warn you that you're less likely to get people here interested in jumping in for the above reasons.

They might not hunt you down, but you'll also never have meaningful ownership of your work, no matter how much time and effort you put into it.  One consequence is, of course, that the resulting work can never be truly 'open' either, as it doesn't qualify for any open license.  People here generally just aren't too interested in doing that.

By the way, I do really like the look of that armor.  Great work!

Please!  I have been hoping for something like this.  Not that I've brought it up before or anything... xD

I sent him an email.  We will see if he responds.

I don't think Clint necessarily wants to do everything himself.  He's done numerous commissions, as well as accepting resources from other people.

By the way, I do concur with the above posts as said before.  Getting a game done is a huge and important step which will likely have big effects on the visibility of the engine.  Also, I want to play it.  =D

Is it... "Skunny Save Our Pizzas" perchance?

(Yeah, didn't think so... xD; but I am curious to know which it is.)

Classic!  How was it made?  Rendered from a model, painted, or perhaps a mix of the two?  Regardless, this looks like a great resource.
