I did not read through the whole history/thread/s  hence this might already have been mentioned :-

It would be nice to see how many times a piece of art has been downloaded.

For e.g. even though I'm no programmer/artist whatever, I still liked the http://opengameart.org/content/tools-icons

It would have been interesting to see how many times the art piece was downloaded.

@tshirtman, it would have been better/nicer if you had given tbe brief of the game (arcade/platformer) with a screenie or two before jumping about the new version.

Also it would have been good if you wanted people to test it for specific behavior (shiny new things) .

IMHO it would have been more productive for all concerned .

Just my 2 paise.

As a gamer I have enjoyed that. In recent past, I played a game 'Aztec Tribe' a casual game on a friend's PC. It had the same dynamic music thingie. As things got hot and bothered, the music got that much more intense. I have seen that in few other games as well but do not recall the names at the top of the mind.

It really depends on what sort of game it is. games which do not have a timer I do not like the dynamic music stuff because it just pressurizes me/us as gamers but games which have some sort of time limit (time management casual games as an e.g.) that will definitely work.

Even Strategy games when they have wars and skirmishes could have this to add drama. It would be good to see some implementations in strategy, adventure and survival games for sure.

Boysano,

You should have included a link of the product. Saw it and was saddened to find that Game maker 8.0 is a propreitary software.

http://wiki.yoyogames.com/index.php/Game_Maker

Do not think that is where the OP (Original Poster) wants to go though. The licenses itself are incompatible. That one is propreitary while this one although have various licenses do not think can merge (atleast in this form)
