Here im thinking that ranger is way too overpowered compared to magician and brute, you can kill a lv8 minotaur with the slingshot at lv1; while the other cant at all at that point.
Currently i think its pretty difficult to increase the game difficulty while keeping it fun, making enemies hit harder or soak more damage is not a good way. The key is into the enemies behaviour(flee,hit&run,suicide...) and giving them plenty of different skills so they are a challenge to beat instead of damage sponges or 1 hit killers.
Ok, it was a spammer that necro´ed this post, but i wonder, its fine to bring this model here to OGA? Besides being free the licenses is nowhere to be seen (i think?) Can someone with some knowledge of it have a look? ill upload to OGA if its compatible(with proper attribution).
I wonder if anyone read this posts at all, but well, here i present to you a new whole cast of enemies:
- Goblin shamans and High shamans
- Boar and armored boar
- Goblin wolf rider, goblin boar rider and goblin boar knight
- Boar Goblin shaman and Boar Goblin High shaman
- Living guts (guts slime)
All of them animated and running on flare! Now i can go back to map making until i need a few minor horrors models for the act end.
I like how it looks, its perfect for a small village, for a general map it would neeed to be a bigger space to allow movement thought. Are you also making a murky water tile?
Well so far, at the moment im creating a bunch of new enemies; once done with the ones ill need short term, ill star making new maps again.
Im surprised at the quantity of content flare-compatible thats been left unused here on OGA, from maps to creatures, its a pity. Also your swamp set is looking real nice.

For Flare? thats pretty cool! be sure ill use it in my mod once its ready.
