The model is quite nice as is. Even if it is not game ready it is gameready ready. One can flatten(only the edges or all) the tail and the wings to make them planar and use some feather texture.
Arial font is just a word in the svg file but it is used in the png files. It is not really a problem.
Ace of spades is by Suzanne Tyson. But I couldn't find anywhere where she states that it is public domain.
Faces are from Bicycle Playing Cards by United States Playing Card Company http://playingcards.wikidot.com/bicycle from late 1800s. They must be public domain.
google code project svn doesn't contain any code. Actually it doesn't contain anything. I also couldn't find anything on http://irrlichtirc.g0dsoft.com/omaremad/. Src.zip was some irrlicht cpp code. Deb package contains a python file but it is just for controlling the plugin
