Hey Clint, these are really nice. I use blender quite a bit and was just wondering how you did the outline effect? Is it done in blender or did you edit the images in another program? If it is done in blender could you explain how to do it please.
I guess that the hippie is actually meant to be a rastafarian or atleast thats what I assumed from the hat so I decided to give him a go! so here's the result.
Hope it's useful! you can use it as CC0 but if you want to credit me please do as either Scribe or Daniel Stephens.

P.S. this is my first real attempt at cartoon style drawing but I think it's pretty good actually! :D hope the project goes well.
Hey your project looks great, I don't have much time to help at the moment I'm afraid but I made this model from a concept image on your site. I'm afraid its not unwrapped or textured and it's quite high poly though I read that you planned to render them into sprite sheets so hopefully the poly count won't be a problem!
ah that makes sense, I thought that but I was expecting it to quadruple but I've just realised the points where the faces join wouldn't be counted twice :)
Certainley, if it's useful comments I don't mind as the reason I did this was to try to improve my modelling and texturing!
This is a really great improvement! thanks for the time you put into this :D
One question, I quickly looked at the submission page and checked the 'textures' box but nothing looks any different, how are future textures going to be assigned to the right areas? will it be done manually by admins etc or will there be big changes to the textures submission?
Also if someone wishes to submit a large zipped file of textures or a large number do they now have to be submitted individually or is there some way of automatically creating a new submission for each file in a zip? or how will this be handle (you might guess I have very little knowledge about this so my ideas probably make no sense!)
and thats great if you can now use .obj files as I think it will mean more users will be able to help you more easily. Does it now work properly with farrer's patch?
I'm too busy for the moment but if theres now an easy way of importing the textures I made last time I might get a chance to make some more at a later date!
it has been quite a while but I finally got round to rendering the model from the different angles, though I don't know if they will be useful, I hope so!

nice style, CC0 definitely is an option though so you might want to check again! :)

Hey,
Sorry for that mess up, all the changes have been made now!

Thanks Bart!
I've changed the license to CC0 and added a line about appreciating attribution like you suggested, I will remember to do this in future :)
Thanks for the nice comments,
Scribe

Hey it's nice to see my textures in game!
and thats great if you can now use .obj files as I think it will mean more users will be able to help you more easily. Does it now work properly with farrer's patch?

Hey
it has been quite a while but I finally got round to rendering the model from the different angles, though I don't know if they will be useful, I hope so!
