I'm working on a RPG which has color and the lack of color as the main theme. The player side will be colorful, the others are the gray side.
Now I'm looking for ideas, which monsters would be fit in as typical gray or color stealing monsters.
Also if you know interesting names like "Gray fader", "Minor Bleacher", "Hand of Gray", "The uncolored", please let me know. English isn't my mothers tongue, and my vocabulary is just too limited to make up good names in this style.

I like the Chroma Thief. Must be a sort of level boss. Thanks!
"Pale Rider" (from the description of the fourth horseman of the apocalypse)
"Pallid Hunter"
and, depending on how willing you are to include puns, "Undyed"
Undyed sounds good to me. I like games with words, even if that is really difficult for me to do in a foreign language.
Undyed Rider reminds me of the Nazgúl somehow ;)
Thanks for the suggestions!
Dyer Wolf =D
Monotaur or Skeletone?
I thought this would be a lot easier than I ended up finding it :P

This color vs. colorless theme reminds me of H.P. Lovecraft's "The Color Out of Space" story. Very fun.

In another forum someone pointed me to the Lovecraft story yesterday. I knew that Lovecraft is a horror writer, but I thought an article about the story would be safe to read. Failure, it gave me nightmares last night :/
I've been inspired by an episode of a sci-fi series, but maybe the authors of that episode were inspired by Lovecraft, I assume his story was first.
Thanks for all the suggestions! Now I must see to actually make some monsters for the game ...
Possibly a headless horseman?
Or maybe a DemonShade?
How about something psuedo-scientific sounding for a colour consuming parasite/predator:
chromavore
chromatovore
chromatophage
Red warrior needs caffeine badly.
"chromatovore / chromatophage"
Sounds terrifying. I'll reserve that for the final levels. Thanks for the suggestion!
The Unwashed (black and stinky)
The Black void
To riff off dpjaygames' idea, how about a Hueless Horseman?
I like you idea too , "chromatophage" sounds well .

Hmm... any abstract term will also do well.
Hatred, Sly, Abomination, Transcendent, Factorial, Singularity, Anomaly, Amnesia, Confrontation...
A lot of the ideas previously posted are generic RPG enemy names and not at all color-related.
Here are a few simple color-related names/terms:
Void: a place void of color. Get it? Yeah. Basic.
Saturiate: soldier for the color/good army.
Void Walker: could be an enemy of low importance or the name given to a player character with the ability to walk in the dead lands where no color can touch.
Prism: crystalized form some creatures took when they lost their color in order to survive in the Void.
Monotony: a shadowy creature with tentacles made of black or white ink. White ink could be considered kind of sexual, so black would be safer for a kid-friendly game.
Tonepi: a pitch black ball that absorbs color like a blackhole and causes creatures to become trapped in prisms. Kill the tonepi to restore the color to the prisms rather than killing the prisms and you can save the friendly creatures/NPCs trapped inside.
Shade: similar to a void walker except they thrive on darkness and become weak in light. Defeat them by using color to brighten them?
Just a few ideas off the top of my head.
