A 32x32 bat sprite I made for an upcoming project, and for some animation practice. Five frames of flight, plus one frame of upside-down perching; two color schemes (gray and brown, though the brown is a bit ugly).

Hi, your bat is great, currently using it in a platformer project. thanks!
Thanks for the feedback - glad to know someone got some use out of it! Feel free to post a link to your project site (or start a thread for it in the 'Show Off Your Project' forum).
The art located here was utilized for our Android game Riding Rhodri. There is also a lite version located here if you would like to give it a shot. Thank you for the hard work you put into your art so that we could make our game look that much better!
Just a point but GPL ver 2 and GPL ver 3 are incompatible with each other. I read that under the link Why Upgrade to GPLv3 on the GPL ver 3 page. I'm not 100% sure but I would think that they are both incompatible with the Creative Commons license as well.
Sorry accidental double post.
You can choose which license you want to use when use art from OpenGameArt.org. This bat can used either CC-BY, GPL2.0 or GPL3.0 which ever you want to use.
That's not the impression that I got from a post I saw a while ago. I think I saw an admin post that someone's licensces were not compatible. That gave me the impression that when you use art from this site, your program has to fall into all the licenses that artist puts on them.
Following one license is enough. See FAQ:
http://opengameart.org/content/faq#q-multilicense
Reemax is correct - you choose the listed license which suits you, and ignore the others. Also, thanks for the reminder - been meaning to CC0 this for a while now.
Thanks for the info. I guess I was worried for nothing.
Thank you for the bat. I used it in my cloud punching game Jumpy Skyfox!Put your nick on credits also. Thanks! Here you can check it out: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.harry.diggifox
Thanks!
I love this little guy! Really nice animation. Would be perfect for a "Flappy Bat" sort of game. :) I only wish the resolution were about twice as high; he's too tiny on my system.
Very beautiful. Have been used in my project.
