But that page now says "access denied". Does anyone know why it was removed? I have a saved copy of the files and I'd like to use them in a project, but if the page was taken down due to copyright/licensing problems, then I'll have to find something else.
I'm an veteran industry programmer. I'm looking for a small (NES-sized), fun project to work on during my spare time. 2D sprites or Minecraft style. I can do a bit of game design and art myself, but I'm interested in the collaboration.
I'd like to team up with a designer and/or artist. I'd prefer to build the engine myself and use something like the "Tiled" editor for level design, or precedural generation if we go the minecraft voxel route.
Do you veteran pixel artists out there think that I can make a program that teaches anti-aliasing? Is there a right way to do it that can be checked by code?
I have developed a new node for PixaFlux that bakes a normal map that softens the hard edges of your 3D models. With this node you can control the smoothing radius and simulate chamfers and fillets easily without the need of a high poly model:
when creating animations for different states, like walking when button pressed, or idle for when no button press, after no button is pressed or movement is made by the player, the characters can do things, like sonic the hedgehog lays down or taps his foot. I was going to add these to future animations but what do you call this state?
i dont wanna call it "when the player does nothing" I wondered if it was called something in the trade, I suppose "non movement" could work.
I keep getting this error when i want to post something the forms, and some times it works but still very annoying. sometimes it takes a day before i can post again.
I've been building a library of images that you are welcome to use in your projects. They are all original...all my own work. I think a lot of them could be made into cool textures for games. All I ask is to be attributed as indicated on my homepage:
I'm adding new ones all the time, so be sure to check back often. I sincerely hope that some of them are useful. Any and all constructive feedback is welcome and always appreciated. :-)
@bart I have outlined the civil case against Medicine Storm and there-to-fore unknown others in the previous thread. Since then you have publicly adopted Medicine Storm's view and have assented to his actions in blocking MikeeUSA's portfolio page; thus liability attaches to you under the doctrine of respondeat superior. "As it has been explained why mikeeusa's page is blocked and we seem to be rehashing the same stuff over and over again, this thread is now locked.
