UOK Software is looking for recent art student grads looking to get their foot in the door or artist whom are looking to build up their portfolio. As an intern, you will be given a light work load to ensure your success during your internship. Candidates must have a bachelors degree in an art related field and portfolio online. Internships will last approximately 3 to 6 months in length and you may have the opportunity to become a full/part time employee once you have successfully completed your internship. To apply, please email us at uokgames@gmail.com with your resume and link to your portfolio. Please allow up to 3 to 5 business days for a response and acceptance. Thank you.

Just a couple of questions (either way, I have no problem with this post, but it'll save people having to ask them):

  • Is this a paid or unpaid internship?
  • Where is it?
  • It may be of interest to at least some of our community members whether the code is going to be free/open or proprietary.

Thanks,

Bart

Awesome.  :)

Hey Sharm, this isn't strictly on topic, but would you be at all interested in doing a fairly major paid pixel art commission for OGA?  It would involve working on some 32x32 tiles.

Very nice :)

Where'd you find the textures?

You can, actually.  It happens automatically if the layers aren't all the same size (you can do foreground parallax too).

Here's a shot with Mumu's shop interior, freshly imported from Tiled. :)

Greets!

I love SkyUI.  Keep up the good work.

I'm not sure if we necessarily have anything in the archive that fits the style you're going for, but if you haven't taken a look, you might want to.  In any case, I look forward to seeing your project. :)

If you need 32x32, you might consider using the 16x16 stuff and just doubling the size of it.  If you're able to do that, we have pretty much everything you need already, here:

There are plans to commission a set of 32x32, but that's probably 3 or 4 months out.
