Overall great stuff! I personnally really liked your Dark/Ominous section :D Some of the songs are a bit 80s sounding for me, but objectively speaking your tracks are very high quality. I can imagine them in many games and even movies.
Some tracks reminded me of Blade Runner/Vangelis. Again, I can definitely see who/what type of game would want music like that. So congrats and keep them coming :)
Uploaded the "Mastered" version for mademoiselle berry :) Mainly just compression and I widened the mix a lot to give a greater feeling of depth, and also make sure it doesn't interfere with dialog/SFX/anything that needs player attention.
Mixed at 0VU calibrated at -20dbFS (K-System) so don't complain it's not loud enough, you deaf HipHop listeners :P (ROFL).
I used to have ProTools (8 I think), then it broke with OS update. If you can live with the money it costs and their bad company practices, ProTools is the best DAW I have ever used. After that, went from Ableton to Logic and now back to Ableton. Though the new Bitwig Studio looks temping (it is also corss platform including Linux).
BTW, the DAW doesn't matter, it's all about your instruments and plugins. Find something you can work with, and build up a nice library of sounds/devices you like. The only downside of Linux is the lack of VST and pro instruments support :(
