Yes, there is definitely risk of abuse. That's why I changed the request to a sort by revision option. Originally I was going to simply suggest moving updated submissions to the front of the list. But that would likely result in spamming submission updates.
And honestly, I wasn't thinking of a specific submission of mine. It just came to me today because I was updating a couple older submissions.

I wanted to show the licensing of the book in my submission, & probably would have assumed the licensing of the whole submission. But when Reemax talked about it being trivial & not taking credit for it, I was a little confused. Perhaps it would be safer to use this submission's licensing for it since it is part of a larger work, like bluecarrot16 says, even if it is trivial.
