It seems that the furniture is CC-BY-SA. And it seems like there is some nice military stuff under creative commons licenses available there.
But what I'm especially interested in is the webgl preview of the models. It looks nice, and if it was free software, we could use it on OGA, too. Not sure about the license of the preview, though.

Err - you can't release artwork based on something originally licensed under CC-BY under CC0, and I don't think you can release it under GPL either...
The OGA forum post of hale can be found here. It is hosted on sourceforge (hale.sf.net).

Yes, you can include stuff licensed under cc-by into works licensed under cc-by-sa. Source.
